June 12, 2021: Care First, Jails Last

Show up for racial justice! Join El Camino Real District United Methodist Women in a social action event that gives historical and social context to today’s decarceration movement and the Care First, Jails Last campaign directed toward Santa Clara County jails.  Learn what you can do to help!

This event includes a presentation by SURJ – Showing Up for Racial Justice, South Bay chapter (at Sacred Heart).

July 22-24, 2021: “Bearing Witness in the Kin-dom” Mission u studies

The focus of this study is to help the church and its members discern our call and bear witness to the will of God for a more just world. Continuing Education Units (CEU) available for CA-NV clergy.

This study is offered as a weekend event in 3 languages:

  • English: July 22 (7-8pm PDT), July 23 (10am-noon, 1-3pm PDT), July 24 (10am-noon, 1-4pm PDT)
  • Spanish: July 22 (7-8pm PDT), July 23 (10am-noon, 1-3pm PDT), July 24 (10am-noon, 1-4pm PDT)
  • Korean: July 22 (7-8pm PDT in English), August 7
